Village Home Cleaning LLC, doing business as Serviche ("we," "our," or "us"), operates the Showcase mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- First and last name
- Company/organization name (if applicable)
Photo Data
When you capture and upload photos through the App, we collect:
- The photos you capture (before and after images)
- Photo metadata including dimensions, file size, and capture timestamp
- Camera settings (if embedded in the photo): zoom level, camera lens used, device orientation
- Labels or descriptions you add to your photos
Location Data
With your permission, we collect location data to help organize your photos by work site:
- GPS coordinates at the time of photo capture
- Human-readable location names (neighborhood, city) derived from coordinates
Location access can be disabled in your device settings at any time. Photos captured without location permission will not include location data.
Team & Organization Data
For team features, we collect:
- Team membership information and roles
- Invitation records (email addresses of people you invite)
- Permission settings for team members
Billing Information
For paid subscriptions, billing is handled by Stripe. We store:
- Subscription plan and status
- Usage counts (photos uploaded, team members)
We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App
- Store and organize your before/after photo pairs
- Enable team collaboration and photo sharing within your organization
- Display location information to help you organize photos by job site
- Process subscription payments and manage your account
- Send important service notifications (password resets, team invitations)
- Respond to your requests and provide customer support
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Within Your Organization
Photos and account information are shared with other members of your team/company based on the permissions set by your organization administrator.
Published Photos
When you choose to publish photos, they become viewable on your public gallery page and can be embedded on websites using our widget. Published photos include the images and any associated labels, but do not include GPS coordinates or personal uploader information.
Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services:
- Supabase - Database, authentication, and file storage
- Mapbox - Converting GPS coordinates to location names (only coordinates are sent)
- Stripe - Payment processing
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our users.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication with password hashing
- Row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data
- Private storage buckets for unpublished photos
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account:
- Your profile information is removed within 30 days
- Unpublished photos associated with your account are deleted within 30 days
- Published photos remain visible unless explicitly unpublished by an administrator
- Billing and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by tax regulations
- Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes
Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will:
- Notify affected users via email within 72 hours of discovering the breach
- Provide details about what information was affected
- Describe the measures we are taking to address the breach
- Offer guidance on steps you can take to protect yourself
- Report to relevant authorities as required by applicable law
International Data Transfers
Your data may be stored and processed on servers located in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access - Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction - Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion - Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability - Request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent - Disable location permissions at any time through device settings

How to Delete Your Account and Data
You have the right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time.
Delete Your Account (Primary Method - In-App)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the app:
- Open the Showcase app
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Confirm deletion when prompted
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately
This is the recommended method and works for all users with the app installed.
Alternative Method (If App Is Uninstalled)
If you no longer have access to the app:
- Email developer@villagehomecleaning.com with subject "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will process your request within 30 days and confirm via email
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email)
- All photos you've uploaded (both private and published)
- Team membership data
- Usage history
Data We Must Retain
Per legal requirements, we retain the following even after account deletion:
- Billing and payment records (retained for 7 years for tax compliance)
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know - You can request information about what personal data we collect, use, and disclose
- Right to Delete - You can request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain exceptions
- Right to Opt-Out - We do not sell personal information to third parties
- Right to Non-Discrimination - We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
User Responsibilities
When using the App, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to photograph the locations and subjects in your photos
- Avoiding capture of sensitive personal information of third parties (faces, license plates, personal documents) unless you have appropriate consent
- Complying with applicable laws regarding photography and privacy in your jurisdiction
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
We recommend reviewing photos before publishing to ensure they do not inadvertently contain sensitive information about third parties.
Analytics & Tracking
The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioral tracking. We do not collect device identifiers (IDFA, Android Advertising ID) or share data with advertising networks.
Cookies & Web Technologies
Our web dashboard and website use essential cookies and local storage for:
- Authentication - Maintaining your login session
- Preferences - Remembering your settings and preferences
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. The mobile App does not use cookies.
Third-Party Links
The App and our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
Terms of Service
Your use of the App is also governed by our Terms of Service. By using the App, you agree to both this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. Please review both documents carefully.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or through the App. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
